We are so proud of the achievements our community has made over the past 30 years, and thankful for the donors and supporters that have helped us get here. As we move into this new decade, we are excited about everything still to come. By becoming a birthday club or founders club level donor, you are helping to ensure that OUTMemphis can continue to be innovative and grow with solutions to the new challenges our community faces. Challenges that we are here to face with you.
We are here if you’re a teenager in an unforgiving crowd of students who don’t understand you or your pronouns. We are here if you are a Transgender adult trying to get an ID that affirms your name and identity so you can rent an apartment. We are here to connect you to PrEP and explain all the ways to keep yourself safe—especially the ones still not taught in school. We are here if you are new to Memphis and need to find your place in this city. We are here if you find yourself without a place to sleep because you don’t meet the “definition” of what your family expected you to be.
We are here to Educate. We are here to Connect. We are here to Advocate. We are here to EMPOWER. We are your LGBTQ community center and we will never stop fighting until our vision of a world where Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender individuals have equal rights, are safe, respected, and celebrated, is real.

Birthday Club
The OUTMemphis Birthday Club is one that grows with the center. To join, sign up to be a $30 a month donor for 2019. In 2020, your donation will increase to $31 to celebrate our 31st birthday. In 2021, your donation will increase to $32 and so on.
Becoming part of the birthday club includes:
- Monthly email newsletter that provides updates on the many birthday events and activities going on throughout the year.
- Early access to tickets for birthday events
- New OUTMemphis swag
- Name featured on Website and Annual Report
- Pre-sale access to OUTMemphis event tickets
- And more!
Founders’ Club
When the center was founded, the goal was to create a safe, vibrant space where LGBTQ people could be themselves. In 2018, the community center is that point of safety and connection for our community in Memphis, even though our work is far from over. The Founders’ Club level celebrates our past while planning for our future.
The Founders’ Club membership is $1989, to celebrate our inaugural year though an annual or monthly ($165.75/month) donation. This membership level includes:
- Monthly email newsletter that provides updates on the many birthday events and activities going on throughout the year.
- Early access to tickets for birthday events
- Name featured on Website and Annual Report
- Complimentary tickets to the OUTMemphis 30th Birthday Party
- New OUTMemphis swag
- Complimentary tickets to Outflix Film Festival
