Stephanie Reyes is the Deputy Director of OUTMemphis. Her role includes handling the fundraising and development day-to-day tasks, hosting events and building community partnerships. Stephanie also supervises The Metamorphosis Project and all non-emergency youth services. Supporting the needs of our LGBTQ+ youth is especially important to Stephanie. Her career at OUTMemphis started in Youth Services in January 2014, and youth homelessness and building up resources for LGBTQ+ young people was her main focus. Growing up in NYC and then moving to the South as an adult, Stephanie has seen the difference that LGBTQ+ community centers, programs and housing options for Queer youth can make. Throughout her time at the center, she has encountered many members of the community struggling to find support, resources, shelter, friendship, or even just a sense of normalcy. She believes that the center provides all of those things and much, much more. Stephanie was the third full time employee hired at OUTMemphis and has seen first-hand the growth that the center has experienced. Her hope is that OUTMemphis continues to thrive and help this city become a safer and more affirming place for all.
