The issues our children, teens, and young adults face today are still rejection from families, lack of support from schools, and limited safe spaces within their communities. I’m dedicated to make change by empowering and supporting youth to take up their deserved space in this world and educating the adults around them on how to protect that safe space. The work I do here allows me to fulfill my dream to pay forward the support and guidance my role models once provided me with and to advocate for the youth who can’t speak up for themselves. It’s my goal to do what is necessary to provide a world in which our youth can live freely without having to conceal or stand up alone to protect their identity.
