The OUTMemphis staff stands for more than ourselves, but as leaders in the LGBTQ+ community. Meet two of our rising stars who you’ll regularly see at both our service-providing locations, who deserve more than a shout-out. Christian and Andrew have a hand in the development of engagement opportunities that make our services come alive.

OUTMemphis Trans Services Manager, TaMesha Kaye, attended the 2025 U.S. Conference on HIV/AIDS [USCHA] in Washington, DC from Thursday, September 4 through Sunday, September 7, 2025. The conference overarching theme Aging with HIV aimed to honor people who have lived a life living with HIV, examine their challenges, and learn from their life experiences.

Meet some of the faces behind our Case Management Team with OUTMemphis serving participants at both centers. We provide Case Managers for everything from working with youth at the Youth Empowerment Center or through gender journeys to guidance through living with HIV.

For the past three years, OUTMemphis has proudly supported the advancement of Black transgender and non-binary individuals by sponsoring their participation in the Black Trans Advocacy Conference (BTAC) in Dallas, Texas.⁠
