In addition to what you see here, we offer year-round referrals, education, and linkage to affirming, empowering resources throughout the mid-south, and plenty of one-off services like legal assistance clinics.

Case Management Intake Form

A case management program to help families find affirming mental health supports, healthcare, and access to gender-affirming healthcare (HRT/blockers) for Trans and gender non-conforming youth.
With the current ban on gender affirming healthcare (GAH) families are linked to care out of state. Parental permission is necessary for linkage to GAH. Financial aid may be available.

That’s why our HIV Linkage to Care services focus on immediate, compassionate support. We connect you to medical providers who specialize in HIV care, offer counseling and mental health resources, and link you to community programs that build strength and resilience. Our commitment is to ensure you feel seen, heard, and cared for as you take the next steps toward living a healthy and empowered life.

PYRSM Care Navigation is about supporting your trans and gender-nonconforming youth through their transition.
OUTMemphis strives to provide trans and gender-nonconforming youth and legal guardians of trans and gender-non-conforming youth whatever they need: whether it’s referrals, transportation, financial assistance, or family support.
Transitioning can include a variety of changes that can be social, legal or medical.

Join us for FREE monthly therapeutic art activities each month. Group Art therapy offers several valuable benefits, blending creative expression with therapeutic support.

Within a Common Bond is a support group that provides a meaning-centered therapeutic approach to help participants explore their identity as it relates to their HIV diagnosis.
Join us while we go through topics like self-disclosure, discussing engaging in intimacy with partners, and learning life skills to manage and enhance participants’ mental and physical health in regard to adhering to their antiretroviral medication and reducing stigma about an HIV diagnosis.

Dr. Jerrika Henderson received her Doctorate of Behavioral Health from Cummings Graduate Institute. She also holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The Rapid Re-Housing Program is for young adults who:
Young Adults between the ages of 18 & 24
Homeless (You slept on the street, in a car, in an abandoned building, etc, the night before. This can also include couch surfing, which is when you stay with various friends/family because you have nowhere else to go)
Identify as LGBTQ+

Living with HIV and facing housing instability?
We offer short-term rental assistance for HIV+ adults to help prevent homelessness and maintain stable housing.
Food Assistance
No one should have to go hungry. OUTMemphis offers free meals and pantry options for LGBTQ+ community members of all ages.

A box stocked with a week’s worth of food including snacks! No one deserves to go hungry and at OUTMemphis we want to do more than weekly meals.
Available during the last 2 weeks of every month, while supplies last at the OUTMemphis Community Center.
Empowering Essentials & Basic Needs
From hygiene supplies to clothing and transportation, these services help LGBTQ+ folks in Memphis feel seen, supported, and secure.

Our donation center is fully community-powered. Donated by Planned Parenthood in 2019, the 4,200-square-foot facility is stocked with furniture, clothes, food, and hygiene supplies from individuals and organizations, helping those in need year-round.

OUTlast Emergency Assistance offers up to $200 in support for eligible LGBTQ+ individuals in need, with applications open from the 1st to the 15th of each month.

The Uplift Fund offers yearly one-time $750 grants to transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals 18+, helping with financial barriers like car repairs, conferences, gender-affirming care, or legal expenses.

Participants MUST participate in 1 trans-specific service (like ArTEAstic or Midday Meditation) or HIV/Hep C testing and education.

The MailOUT Initiative is a Trans Services program created to support trans and non-binary individuals living in rural and surrounding areas of Memphis, TN who may face barriers accessing affirming supplies.
Participants can discreetly receive gender-affirming items such as:

PRYSM is our social group for queer and allied youth 12-17
They meet weekly on Saturdays for activities, hang out sessions, field trips, community building, and more!

Homework Support is a bi-monthly group designed to help LGBTQ+ youth ages 12–17 stay on track and feel confident in the classroom.
Whether you need help with an assignment, want a quiet space to study, or just need encouragement from supportive peers and staff.

CROSS is a 12 bi-weekly transformative support group created for trans-masculine and male-identifying individuals who are dedicated to living, thriving, and building together. Our mission is to continuously rise above systemic stigma by providing a safe, affirming space for connection, healing, and empowerment.
This group is for ALL trans-masc & male-identifying folks 18+

Talk it OUT Tuesdays is a safe, intimate space to talk about the real stuff: sex work, homelessness, church hurt, domestic violence, addiction, and the daily grind of surviving as our authentic selves. To heal, laugh, reflect, and lift each other up—just like pulling up to the shop, taking off your coat, and exhaling with your sisters.
