Action &
Resilience
Campaign
Because in a World of uncertainty, OUTMemphis is a safety net.
To meet this moment, we are launching a bold new chapter with an expansion of services and infrastructure, including a new Community Center and Headquarters, opening on Cleveland Street in 2027.
The $12M Action and Resilience Campaign will:
• Create a $7M, 11,000 sq ft purpose-built home base for our community.
• Expand youth housing units & all-ages supportive services.
• Secure an additional $5M programs reserve fund for our permanence & presence.
WHY THIS MATTERS NOW
As rights and access have been rolled back for LGBTQ+ Tennesseans, four major OUTMemphis programs have been prohibited or defunded — even as demand and capacity have tripled, yet demand for services continues to exceed available space.
This campaign is about more than a building. It is about ensuring OUTMemphis can always say “yes” to those who need us.

“We believe that OUTMemphis is more than a building; it’s a community, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment for LGBTQ+ individuals of all ages. OUT Memphis offers hope and support and creates a safe space where we can all live authentically and without fear.”
