OUTMemphis Trans Services provides affirming resources, navigation, advocacy, and community spaces designed to support transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people throughout Memphis and the Mid-South.

Whether you’re working on your documents, looking for gender-affirming resources, need help getting connected, or simply want a space where you can be yourself—Trans Services is here for you.

Our goal is to help make the process easier to understand and navigate—one document at a time.

  • The OUTMemphis Trans Services team will help guide you through your gender affirming needs like:

    • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) & Referrals & first time co-pay assistance

    • Name Change Assistance

    • Birth Certificate Assistance

    • Social Security Card Assistance

    • Passport Assistance

  • The MailOUT Initiative is a Trans Services program created to support trans and non-binary individuals living in rural and surrounding areas of Memphis, TN who may face barriers accessing affirming supplies.

  • The OUTMemphis Trans Services Department provides transportation assistance to eligible transgender and nonbinary community members to reduce transportation barriers and improve access to essential services, healthcare, identity documentation, programming, and community support. 

    Transportation assistance may include Lyft, Uber, and public transportation/bus passes, based on participant needs, eligibility, availability of funding, and program guidelines.

Through shared experiences, dialogue, and access to daily essentials, C.R.O.S.S. helps men rise over systemic stigma, build brotherhood, and thrive in their full authenticity.

We are opening our space to trans leaders and the trans community as a whole to discuss violence against Trans women in Memphis in the wake of the recent murder on a local trans woman. This session will be led by Kayla Gore of My Sistah’s House, Jasmine Tasaki of WeCareTN, and TaMesha Prewitt OUTMemphis Trans Services Manager.
