Following three years of unprecedented growth, the organization is launching a bold new chapter that consolidates its footprint, scales its lifesaving services, and secures its position as a leading voice for the LGBTQ+ South.
Understanding Tennessee’s HB 0754/SB 0676: A Bill Designed to Restrict and Surveil Gender-Affirming Care
HB 0754/SB 0676 is designed to restrict and surveil gender-affirming care for adults in Tennessee. It would require that all gender-affirming care providers and insurance companies that cover gender-affirming care also cover so-called “detransition” care. It would also require gender-affirming care providers to report data about providers and patients to the Tennessee Department of Health, which would then be made public. The bill has not yet passed the House or Senate.

OUTMemphis Trans Services Manager, TaMesha Kaye, attended the 2025 U.S. Conference on HIV/AIDS [USCHA] in Washington, DC from Thursday, September 4 through Sunday, September 7, 2025. The conference overarching theme Aging with HIV aimed to honor people who have lived a life living with HIV, examine their challenges, and learn from their life experiences.
