As we navigate this difficult time, the needs of our community are constantly evolving. With food and hygiene kits, video support groups and wellness check ins, We Are Here to support you. If you don’t see a service or program you are looking for, fill out our Community Survey to let us know what you need.
Free HIV Testing
Free HIV tests are still offered at 892 S. Cooper St. every Monday and Wednesday night from 6:00p-9:00p with no appointment necessary. We have implemented strict health and hygiene protocols to ensure a sterile environment for testing, so don’t let COVID-19 deter you from coming by to get tested!

Walk Up Hygiene & Food Kits
For the duration of the quarantine, we will be offering pre-assembled food and hygiene kits to LGBTQ+ community members in need. Items included in kits will vary depending on supplies available. Kits will be available at 892 S. Cooper Street Monday-Thursday from 9am-6pm. The distribution of kits will be based on availability, and at-risk groups will receive priority of supplies. Please call in advance to secure your pick-up.

Wellness Check Ins
OUTMemphis is now offering Wellness Check Ins to connect with members of our community who may be experiencing a more difficult time during the quarantine. Whether you are an LGBTQ+ senior facing isolation and a lack of community, or an LGBTQ+ young adult having to spend your quarantine days with an unsupportive family- We Are Here for you.
The two groups in our community we are starting with are youth 13-25 years-old and seniors over 55 years-old.
If you are in need of a Wellness Check In, our staff and volunteers would like to connect with you. Sign up today and let us know how we can best support you through either a video chat, phone call, text or email.
Video Group Meetings
A number of our Social-Support Groups that are not currently meeting at the center have chosen to continue their weekly meetings through Zoom Video Chat. Social distancing doesn’t have to mean disconnecting. Each group has different requirements and offerings so find the one that fits with you!
PRYSM
Join our weekly social-support group for 13-17 year old LGBTQ+ & Allied Youth. We meet weekly over Zoom on Saturdays at 4pm. Email Emerson for the Zoom login info and for more information!
GenQ
Are you 18-25 years-old and looking to meet some new friends? Join our weekly social-support group for LGBTQ+ & Allied Young Adults. GenQ meets every Friday night at 7pm over Zoom. Email Emerson or check out the GenQ facebook page for the login info and for more information.

Virtual T
Join us for a weekly Zoom gathering on Tuesdays at 6pm. Open to anyone 18+ who identifies as a member of the trans or GNC community, Virtual T is a chance to come together and connect with other folks during this time of isolation. This group will be a time to socialize, check-in, and seek support. Check out our Facebook page or contact Alex for login information.
We Are Family
We Are Family is our group for LGBTQ+ families with kids under 12. All parents or caregivers are welcome. If you would like to join the private facebook group to connect with other families, contact Emerson.
