Alex joined the OUTMemphis team recently as the Transgender Services Manager, and is coming to Memphis from Albany, New York. As Transgender Services Manager, Alex will oversee all transgender services at OUTMemphis, including Perpetual Transition, Delta Trans Masculine, Trans ID Workshop, Trans Best of Memphis, and much more. He will also be reviving the Transgender Service Committee, and will be responsible for organizing events for various awareness days, such as Trans Day of Remembrance and Trans Day of Visibility.
In order to introduce Alex to the community here in Memphis, OUTMemphis is hosting a Meet & Greet with him on Wednesday, January 29 from 6:00p-8:00p. You’ll have a chance to officially meet him, give some feedback on what you’d like to see for Trans Services, have some snacks and mingle with other community members, and hear Alex talk about his plans for 2020 and beyond!
