Introducing our newest board members and our new partner.

As we continue to meet our community’s needs during this turbulent climate, we’re humbled to announce these expansions to our people capacity.

Love Doesn’t Hurt, led by Founder & CEO Phillis Lewis, and OUTMemphis have forged a long-term partnership to combine resources in service of LGBTQ+ individuals impacted by trauma and partner violence. We’ll work together on case management, emergency housing, training and education, and other services.

We’re also announcing two additions to our Board of Directors. Lacretia Carroll, Ph.D., MSN, RN of UTHSC joins us with her history of pursuing health equity for gender and sexual minority youth through her nursing career and academic work. Erin Swinney, MBA, of Raymond James Financial, has supported the LGBTQ+ community at large and OUTMemphis for many years, and brings her leadership in the business community.
