It is with much gratitude and excitement that we introduce you to some new faces at OUTMemphis. With our recent expansion across now three facilities, we have created new positions to help us meet the vast and ever-changing needs of our community. We are confident that Neal Holmes, our new Director of Community Services, along with Theo Millbrooks and Natalie Richmond, our new Metamorphosis Project Peer Advocates, are the perfect people for the job.

Neal joins us with over 15 years of education, administrative, social justice advocacy, and entrepreneurial work experience. His experience as an entrepreneur and private therapy practitioner has given him a great foundation to understanding how to create and sustain programs and revenue streams, as well as strengthen his communication skills to allow him to truly listen to people. When we asked Neal why he chose to work at OUTMemphis, here is what he had to say:

“I chose to work with OUTMemphis because I saw in the leadership team an openness to explore new ways to create, shape, and mold our programs and services to meet the needs of our LGBTQIA+ community. The greatest accomplishment for me will always be having a positive influence on a person’s life that empowers them to live the life they wish to live. Throughout my professional career, I have always strived to be a social justice advocate for others. I believe that when one is empowered to live and embody their truth, it becomes easier to find one’s purpose in life.  Addressing access and barriers to care, and financial equity are important to me. Community work is always a purpose filled work in progress. In the spirit of unity, I welcome members of our LGBTQIA+ community and allies to join me as we continue to grow and develop programs and services at OUTMemphis.”
